Beach relaxation

Yours truly soaking up some sun

Two words couldn’t describe coastal Costa Rica any better. Fresh fruit, sunny skies, open ocean, and a simple way of living close to each other and even closer to the land.

Playa Negra and the Pura Vida Costa Rica Bliss Retreat will always hold such a special place in my heart. So much was gained by letting go of expectations, taking each day as it came and leaving no waves behind.

yoga in the jungle

Paddling and doing yoga on the boards and the beach, in rivers, estuaries, and oceans; riding tica horses like a cowgirl and finding every lost item imaginable in the unlikeliest circumstances.

The motley Bliss crew found so much more in each other, in our Costa Rican family, and in our practice than I think any of us expected.

Pura vida was a gift to all of us and I can hardly wait for each of us to take it and grow.
