
Liz Arch
Liz Arch is the creator of Primal Yoga®, a dynamic yoga and martial arts fusion class designed to create balance, strength and synergy in our physical and emotional bodies.
Liz has over 10 years of experience in various yoga and martial arts styles including Vinyasa Yoga, traditional Northern-style Kung Fu (empty hand and weapons), Yang-style Tai-Chi and Self Healing Qi Gong. She holds a Tai Chi Quan Certification from the Beijing Tai Chi and Kung Fu Academy and has competed and won local and national Kung Fu and Tai Chi competitions. She holds multiple yoga certifications, including a SmartFlow Yoga certification from Annie Carpenter and a Yoga Tune Up® certification from Jill Miller. Liz has trained celebrities, musicians and Olympic athletes, and travels the world leading teacher training programs, workshops and yoga retreats.
Liz was named one of the “100 Women to Watch in Wellness” in 2015 by MindBodyGreen and has graced the covers of international yoga magazines including Om Yoga Magazine, Yoga Life Magazine, and Yoga & Wellness Magazine. She has also been featured in Well +Good, Mantra Magazine, Elle A Table Magazine, and Yoga Journal Russia, and has contributed as a health and wellness expert to Self.com, MindBodyGreen.com, Hauteliving.com, VitalJuice.com, TheChalkboardMag.com, ElephantJournal.com, and more.
She is a firm believer in the capacity of yoga to heal on both a physical and emotional level. She donates her time to causes that touch her heart and is an Advisory Board Member for A Window Between Worlds (www.awbw.org), a national non-profit organization that uses art as a healing tool to empower and transform the lives of individuals and communities impacted by domestic violence and trauma.
She currently resides in Los Angeles, CA where she joyfully teaches private lessons, public classes, workshops, and retreats.
